It is the right and responsibil-
ity of Jewish women to "look in-
side at our traditions and then
reach outside to enhance and
enlarge the lives of others
around the world," says a noted
author and Orthodox feminist.
"Looking Inside—Reaching

Jewish Welfare Federation
Women's Division 38th annual
Institute Day.
Greenberg's remarks on

women's rights—the 1985
Nairobi Conference; family and
children's issues; and health

workshop themes signify a
blending of Jewish and common
concerns, and represent the de-
sire of Jewish women to partici-
pate in worldwide issues. "There
has been a shift from par-
ticularism to universalism

and is coming to realize that she
can accept the "notion of
feminism" without breaking
