UHS Women Plan Lunch
The Woman's Auxiliary of the
United Hebreir Schools will pre-
sent its annual donor luncheon
on Nov. fi it 12:15 p.m. at Cong.
Beth Achiin.
The program for the afternoon
will be a musical performance
by the Serenade Ensemble, con-
sisting of Nikolai LeMberg,
flUtist; Ludmila Lemberg,
pianist;,and Gerta voc-
alist: All are- recent emigres
from the Soiriet Union.
Proceeds from the donor will
be awarded to the. United He-
brew School students and
alumni. Applicants may receive
funds toward 'teacher training
programs and scholarships to
attend. Hebrew speaking sum-
mer camps. Grants for study
• programs in Israel for high
school and college students are
. also provided.
Contributions also will help
provide funds for the. Midrasha
Library, provide 'prizes for the
nursery school program and
sponsor awards for art and writ-
ing contests in the United He-
breW Schools.
'The ,women's goal is to train
future teachers and leaders in
the•Jewish community.
