Joel is the son of Dr. and Mrs.
George (former Detroiter Carol
Shulman) Kimeldorf of Dallas,
Tex. He is the grandson pf Mr. and
Mrs. David (Bea) Shulman of
West Bloomfield and Mr. and Mrs.
William Kimeldorf of New York.

Matthew Citron, son of Dr. and
Mrs. Henry Citron of West Bloom-
field, will share his bar mitzvah
on Saturday at Cong. Beth Ab-
raham Hillel Moses with Mikhail
Dorfman of Vilnius, Lithuanian
SSR, USSR.
Mikhail is the son of Grigory
and Klarissa Dorfman. Mrs.
Dorfman's brother lives in Israel,
but the reason that the Dorfmans
have been refused an exit visa is
"insufficient kinship." Mikhail
will be 13 this year, but as it is
forbidden by Soviet law for any-
one under 16 to take part in a reli-
gious ceremony, he will be denied
his right to be a bar mitzvah.
