Association will sponsor four
und-raising events in the up-
coming weeks. It will host Las
Vegas Night at Tel-12 Mall at 9
m. Saturday. A nominal ad-
ission fee will be charged.
MDA will also present its sec-
ond annual Family Funfest on
Sept. 2 at 10 a.m. in the parking
lot of the Southfield Hilton.
MDA is looking for people to
help - with phones and pledges
during the 1985 Jerry Lewis
Telethon, Sept. 1-2. Volunteers
age 18 or older should call the
Oakland County MDA office,
399-8800.
Trumbull Avenue Performing
Arts Studio and Gallery will
present Samuel Beckett's Wait-
ing for Godot through Sept. 1.
Performances are on Friday and
Saturday at 8 p.m. and Sunday
at 3 p.m. The theater is located
at 4208 Trumbull Avenue, De-
troit.
