Dr. Mark Glasberg, director of
Henry Ford Hospital's division of
neuromuscular diseases (depart-
ment of neurology), is taking
pledges for a 15-mile run between
Ann Arbor and Detroit during the
upcoming "1985 Lou Gehrig Race
for Life," which will raise funds
for research and treatment of
amyotrophic lateral sclerosis
(ALS).
On Wednesday, Dr. Glasberg
will join marathoners Marvin
Skagerberg of New York and
Malcolm Campbell of England as
they run through the local area en
route from Los Angeles to New
York in a nation-wide three-
month fund-raising effort.

has planned a number of summer
activities for college students.
Events will include a Tiger
baseball game next Thursday,
horseback riding on June 23 and a
