Sharyl Taub of Windsor, Ont.,
and Alan Ackerman of Hun-
tington Woods were married re-
cently at Cong. Beth El, Windsor.
Rabbi Jonathan V. Plaut of-
ficiated.
The bride is the daughter of
Paula and Harold Taub of
Windsor. Parents of the brideg-
room are Faye and Irving Acker-
man, former Detroiters of Pom-
pano Beach, Fla.
Nancy Ennis of Toronto, Ont.,
was the maid of honor. Brides-
maids were Cori Bassett and
Nancy Kopstein, both of Toronto,
and Connie Putterman. The
bride's grandmother, Mrs. Sante
(Gertrude) Levine, also partici-
pated in the ceremony.
Best man was the bride's
brother, Jeffrey Taub. Ushers

were Eric Efron of Atlanta, Ga.,
Ron Budman of San Antonio,
Tex., Marty Sonders and Gene
Cassazza.
The new Mrs. Ackerman re-
ceived a B.A. degree from York
University in Toronto and a Spe-
cial B. Comm. degree from the
University of Windsor. She is cur-
rently completing studies toward
an M.B.A. degree at the Univer-
sity of Windsor.

Her husband received B.A. and
master's degrees at Michigan
State University. He received a
law degree from the University of
Michigan and practices in De-
troit.
Following a honeymoon to Is-
rael and Italy, the couple is resid-
ing in Huntington Woods.
