The annual concert of the Pro
Mozart Society of Greater Detroit
will take place on Sunday at 3
p.m. in the Fries Auditorium of
the Grosse Pointe War Memorial,
32 Lake Shore Rd., Grosse Pointe.
Marguerite Kozenn Chajes,
founder and artistic director of the
Pro Mozart Society, will speak on
the compeser.
Participating artists are music
director Lawrence LaGore and
Fontaine Laing, pianists; Sharon
Stanis, Margaret Van Luten and
Judith Vander Weg, instrumen-
talists; and members of the Re-
naissance City Chamber Or-
chestra. The General Motors Em-
ployees Chorus under the direc-
tion of Frank Murch, also will per-
form.

The Michigan Opera Theatre
will hold auditions on Thursday
and May 24 for all singers in-
terested in performing in the
company's season for 1985-1986.
