Helen Tobias

Temple Israel Sisterhood will
dedicate its installation of officers
luncheon and ceremony to the
memory of past President Helen
Tobias on Monday at noon in the
temple's Herman Social Hall.
The program will initiate the
Helen S. Tobias Fund of Temple
Israel, created to perpetuate the
memory of Mrs. Tobias, who
served as president from 1979 to
1981 and who passed away last
year after a prolonged illness.
Mrs. William P. Greenberg,
herself a past president of sister-
hood, will preside over the origi-
nal installation ceremony.
The following will be inducted
into office: President, Adrienne
Milin; Vice Presidents, Donna
Phillips, Sara Hoffman, Gail Cap-
lan and Sherrie Stern; Treasurer,
Annie Weiss; Secretaries, Janey
Roth, Judy Weinstein, Bette Kes-
sler.
Elected for two-year terms on
the board of directors were: Caren
Bass, Eve Caminker,. Dorothy
Collins, Judy Etkin, Nancy Fink,
Cindy Franklin, Nancy Jonas,
Stephanie Keywell, Lin Klein,
Lauren Koenigsberg, Elaine Mel-
der, Carol Miller, Marsha Schav-
rien, Paula Shapiro, Gloria
Shiffman, Sandy Stocker, Sherry
Tobias and Marilyn Weisberg.
Serving one-year unexpired
terms are: Marcia Blume, Re-
becca Jerris and Yolanda Tisdale.
Cantor Harold Orbach will pre-
sent the installation program,
entitled "Songs from Childhood."
He will be assisted by members of
the Temple Israel Choir.
