Judge Shepherd To Speak
To Einstein Lunch Forum

JudgE‘John H. Shepherd of the
Michigan Court of Appeals will
address the Einstein Luncheon
Forum on Thursday at noon at the
Ramada Hotel, Southfield, it was
announced by Judges Ira G.
Kaufman and Norman W. Feder,
co-chairmen of the forum.(JTA) —
Judge Shepherd will discuss: "The
Relevance of Jewish Law to Con-
temporary American Law."
A graduate of the University of
Michigan Law School and a reci-
pient of a Fulbright Scholarship
for the study of international law
at the University of Paris, France,
Judge Shepherd is a former assis-
tant U.S. attorney for the Eastern
District of Michigan, special
assistant attorney general,
Wayne County commissioner and
instructor in political science at
Wayne State University.
He is a former president of the
Jewish Community Council,
president of Project Equality of
Michigan and member of the
Democratic State Central Com-
mittee. He currently serves as

board chairman of Channel 56
and is a member of the represen-
tative assembly of the Michigan
State Bar.
