troit, is chairman of the program.
The evening, by invitation only, is
intended for people with little or
no previous association with the
University's activities.
A native of London, England,
Greenbaum was sent in 1945 by
the then Chief Rabbi of England,
Dr. Joseph Hertz, on a special
mission to the displaced persons
camps in Germany and, attached
to the military government, was
active in assisting survivors of the
Rabbi David Nelson of Cong.
Beth Shalom, Rabbi Efry Spectre
of Adat Shalom Synagogue and
Rabbi Morton Yolkut of Cong.
B'nai David were in Miami Beach,
Fla., last month to attend the Na-
tional Rabbinic Cabinet of State
of Israel Bonds.
At the meeting, regional
cabinets were formed to reach out
and involve rabbinic groups of all
three denominations — Reform,
Conservative and Orthodox — in
the Israel Bond campaign.
Stepped-up congregational par-
ticipation in the Bond campaign
was urged at the meeting.
