Bloodmobile stops
at Oak Park High

An American Red Cross blood-
mobile will be at Oak Park High
School Wednesday between 9 a.m.
and 3 p.m. For appointments, call
Louise Martin, 548-7376.
Donations are also accepted at
the Oak Park Donor Center,
25900 Greenfield Road, Monday
and Friday, 10 a.m.-4 p.m.; Tues-
day, Wednesday and Thursday, 2
p.m.-8 p.m.; and Saturday, 9
a.m.-2 p.m. For appointments,
call the Red Cross, 968-2258.
The American Red Cross will
also be offering intensive emer-
gency first aid training beginning
Jan. 8. The 20 consecutive classes
will be Tuesdays at 7 p.m. at Red
Cross Chapter Headquarters, 100
Mack Ave., Detroit.

Program on vision,
new senior classes
at Morris Branch

George Bingham will present a
lecture and film at 1 p.m. Tuesday
in the assembly hall of the Jimmy
Prentis Morris Branch of the
Jewish Community Center.
Bingham's topic is Your Fu-
ture in Sight" and the film is
entitled, Not Without Sight.
The program is an introduction
to a workshop and support group
series sponsored by the Greater
Detroit Society for the Blind
which will begin at 1 p.m. Wed-
nesday at the Morris Branch.
All senior adults who are le-
gally blind or severely visually
impaired are invited free of
charge.
The program is supported by a
grant from the Area Agency on
Aging, 1-B.
Two new classes have begun for
seniors at the Morris Branch.
A beginning knitting and
crocheting class is held at 12:30
p.m. Wednesdays at the Morris
Branch, taught by Shirley Zieve.
At 2 p.m. Thursdays, Fred
Brainin teaches a class on Jewish
history.
All seniors are invited free of
charge. For information, call Judy
Blustein at the Morris Branch,
