Park, died Dec. 3. Survived by

of Hollywood, Fla., Mrs. Robert
(Gertrude) Kannon and Mrs.
Robert (Ruthe) Goldfarb; eight
grandchildren and seven great-
grandchildren.
GEORGE A. HUGO, 67, of Port-
land, Maine, died Nov. 30. Sur-
vived by a son, Jay of Philadel-
phia, Pa.: four daughters, Can-
dace Alper of West Bloomfield,
Beverly Ramdial of Kibbutz
Gezer, Israel, Ruth Stockett of
Middleburg, Va., and Janice of
Portland; three brothers, Harmon
and Frank, both of Portland and
Harrold of Wellesley, Mass.; and a
sister, Evelyn of Portland. Inter-
ment Portland.
FREDA SHY, 75, of Southfield,
died Dec. 4. Survived by two sons,
Leon and Norman H.; eight
grandchildren and one great-
grandchild.
DAVE STOFFER, 67, former
Detroiter of Tucson, Ariz., died
Dec. 3. Survived by his wife, Bar-
bara; a daughter, Shelly of
California; two brothers, Bill and
Irv, both of Oak Park; and two
sisters, Rose and Ethel Coleman,
both of Oak Park. Interment Tuc-
son.
FREDA MARIE WINER, 71, of
Southfield, died Dec. 4. Survived
by a daughter, Mrs. Bernard
(Rosalynn) Cohen; two brothers,
David Gillerman of Las Vegas,
Nev., and William Gillerman of
St. Louis, Mo.; four grandchildren
and two great-grandchildren.

former Detroiter of Clifton, N.J.,
died Nov. 17. Survived by two
daughters, Beatrice Spektor of

BELLE MITNICK, 81, of Far-
mington Hills, died Dec. 2. Sur-
vived by her husband, Meyer; a
daughter, Mrs. Max (Carole)
Frank; a sister, Mrs. Lillian
Cohen of Ann Arbor; and four
grandchildren.
HARRY NEUMAN, 74, of
Southfield, died Dec. 2. Survived
by his wife, Clara; two sons, Ar-
nold of Tampa, Fla., and Sherwin
of Sterling Heights; a daughter,
Linda Rose; a sister, Mrs. Rae
Uronovitz; and five
grandchildren.
ABRAHAM PRICE, 90, of De-
troit, died Dec. 1. Survived by four
daughters, Mrs. Jack (Freda)
Cohen of Oak Park, Mrs. Albert
(Selda) Friedman of Oak Park,
Mrs. Abraham (Sadie) Komisar of
Southfield and Mrs. Nick (Mari-
lyn) Gonte of Southfield; 15
grandchildren and two great-
grandchildren. Interment
Windsor.
Abraham Zahler, co-partner of
Tiger Lumber and Supply Co. in
Warren, and co-partner of Zahler
Enterprises and Building and
Management Co., died Nov. 28 at
age 66.
Born in Detroit, Mr. Zahler was
with the lumber company for 25
years and active in the building
and management firm for 20
years.
He was a member of Ivan S.
Bloch Lodge of B'nai B'rith and
Cong. Beth Abraham Hillel
Moses. He was granted from
Northern High School and the De-
troit Institute of Technology. Mr.
Zahler served in the Navy during
World War II.
He is survived by his wife, Rita
J.; two sons, Gerald A. and
Richard D.; two daughters, Mrs.
Douglas ("Rosemarie) Colin and
Mrs. James (Susan) Petersen of
Cordoba, Tenn.; two brothers,
Louis of Tamarac, Fla., and Harry
F.; and eight grandchildren.
Helen Schwartz
Helen Schwartz, an organizer of
Women's Bicur Cholem society,
died Dec. 1 at age 83.
Born in Detroit, Mrs. Schwartz
was the first president of the
women's organization. She was a
life member of Hadassah, Sinai
Hospital Guild and active in tasks
on behalf of the Jewish Home for
Aged.
She leaves her husband, Henry;
a daughter, Mrs. Arnold (Bar-
bara) Berg; a sister, Lola Wein-
berg; two grandchildren and four
great-grandchildren.

MALVINA SOBELMAN,
90, of West Bloomfield, died
Dec. 1. Survived by a son,
William of Anaheim, Calif.; a
daughter, Mrs. Ruth Frank; a
