YOUNG JEWISH ADULTS
ASSOCIATION (age 18-25) will
have a general membership meet-

The group will visit the
Holocaust Memorial Center on
Dec. 9, meeting at 1:30 p.m. at the
Southfield Civic Center for car-
pools. A trip out to dinner will fol-
low.
A latke and video party will be
held Dec. 22, meeting at 7:30 p.m.
for carpools at the Southfield
Civic Center, tennis court area. A
nominally priced unisex gift
should be brought for a grab bag.
The party will be held in the home

COMMUNITY NETWORK
FOR JEWISH SINGLES will
have dinner at the Orchard Fam-
ily Restaurant, 30894 Orchard
Lake Rd.," Farmington Hills, at
7:30 p.m. Monday. The restaurant
specializes in Russian Jewish
food. There is a fee, including tax,
tip and service fee to CNJS.

The CNJS and the Women's
Health Club will have a master
workout party at 6:30 p.m. Tues-
day at the Main Jewish Commu-
nity Center. Alison Stuart-Gluck
will be the instructor. Singles age

cheese will be served following
the 6:30 p.m. workout. There is a

The Book Club will present
Marilyn Betman, author of Heart
Shaped Earth at 8 p.m. Dec. 10 at

Agam exhibit coming to area
Albert Scaglione, owner of Park
West Galleries of Southfield, an-
nounces that internationally
acclaimed artist Yaacov Again
will personally introduce an ex-
hibit of his recent works at a pre-
view opening 8 p.m. Dec. 12 at the
gallery, 29469 Northwestern
Hwy., Southfield.
The exhibit is entitled "Move-
ment in Bleu Space."
Officials of the Michigan Cen-
ter for the Arts will oversee open-
ing ceremonies at which Agam
will be personally introduced by
Meir Rosenne, Israeli ambassador
to the United States. The preview
opening and following exhibition
is sponsored by the Temple Israel
Brotherhood. The event is a fund
raiser for the brotherhood, which
will receive a portion of the eve-
ning's proceeds.
Checks for tickets should be
made payable to Temple Israel
Brotherhood or Michigan Center
for the Arts. Tickets are available
at the Park West Galleries.
The exhibit will be open to the
public Dec. 13 through Jan. 31.
Hours are Monday until Wednes-
day, 10 a.m. to 6 p.m.; Thursday
and Friday, 10 a.m. to 9 p.m.;
Saturday, 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.; Sun-
day, noon to 5 p.m.
