Fairy tale, allegory of the
Masonic philosophy or operatic
production — Michigan Opera
Theatre's presentation of
Mozart's Magic Flute is charming.
This enchanting production
continues through this weekend
at the Music Hall Center.
Originally, Colin Graham and
John Conklin designed the sets
and costumes for the Opera
Theatre of St. Louis. They are dis-
armingly simple and colorful and
enhance the stage without dis-
tracting.
