Pitt is the son of Yosele
Pitkowitz, an early Work-

Yiddish actor. Pitt worked
in the Glen Miller and Artie
Shaw orchestras as well as
in Hollywood and on WXYZ
radio. He was musical direc-
tor of the Balfour Concerts
and a featured saxophonist
and mandolin player with
the Detroit Symphony Or-
chestra.
Cantor Resnick is a na-
tive of Detroit and honors
graduate of Wayne State
University, where he
studied music. He studied
voice with Max Levy and
Avery Crew.
He received his first
operatic experience with
the Detroit Friends of Opera
and later appeared in three
operatic productions.
He had a major role in the
award-winning television
production of the opera
Isaac Levi. For more than 25
years, he was baritone sol-
oist at various synagogues
and temples. He: has per-
formed in many concerts in
the Detroit area and has
done solo and choral singing
for commercial films. Since
1980 he has been cantor at
Windsor's Cong. Beth El.
SaVage is a native De-
troiter and a graduate of the
Sholem Aleichem Institute.
She was better known in the
Jewish community 'under
her maiden name, Ruth
Soifer, when she sang for
