Temple Beth El. Rabbi
Dannel Schwartz officiated.
The bride.'is the daughter
of Dr. and Mrs. Richard M.
Kommel. Parents of the
bridegroom are Mr. and
Mrs. Carl Meyers of Dear-
born.
Deby Baxter was her sis-
ter's matron of honor.
Bridesmaids were Patti
Kommel, Susan Kessler,
Lauren Abramson, Susan
Polozker of Miami Lakes,
Fla., and Karen Anderson of
Grand Rapids.
Robin Harrison of Hous-
ton, Tex., was the best man.
Ushers were Jon Meyers

Law School. Her huSband

Following a honeymoon
in Park City, Utah, and
Longboat Key, Fla., the
couple is residing in Detroit.

Actress-humorist highlights
young adult unit meeting

Actress and humorist
Viola Harris will appear at
the Jewish Welfare Federa-
tion's Young Adult Division
annual meeting at 7:30 p.m.
Wednesday at the main
Jewish Community Center.
The meeting will feature
election of officers and a re-
view of the past year's ac-
tivities.
Mrs. Harris will perform
her one-man show, "Laugh-
ter and Tears," featuring
songs, humor and selections
from Jewish folk literature.
A resident of New York
City, Mrs. Harris has ap-
peared in several television
programs, including "All in
the Family
," "Quincy," and
"All My Children." Her sc-
reen credits include "Funny,
Girl" and "Funny Lady.'
She is a graduate of the
Seminary College of Jewish
Studies ,of the *wish
