David Gubow has been
appointed chairman of the
planning committee for the
Jewish Community Council
of Metropolitan Detroit's in-
formation booth at the
Michigan State Fair to be
open from Aug. 24-Sept. 3.
Council President David
Lebenbom made the ap-
pointment.
1-ubow sits on Council's
_ecutive committee and its
committee on international
concerns. He is a member of
the Israel Independence
Day celebration steering
committee and has served
on Council's community re-
lations committee as well as
on the Walter E. Klein
Youth Awards Committee.
Theme of the exhibit is
"Amar Cain L'Michigan"
("Say Yes to Michigan" in
Hebrew). The exhibit will
include an audio-visual pre-
