Mr. and Mrs. Solomon
(Mary) -Granadier were
honored Sunday at a brunch
in the Huntington Woods
home of their grandchil-
dren, Mr. and Mrs. Charles
(Linda) Soberman, on the
occasion of their 60th wed-
ding anniversary.
The couple are the par-
ents of Mrs. Nathan (Sally)
Soberman and Gerald
Granadier. They have six
grandchildren and eight
great-grandchildren.
The couple met in their
native Pinsk, Russia, and
were married in Detroit on

April 30, 1924.
Granadier was a furrier,
then bought Perry Furni-
ture, owned a grocry store, a
dry cleaning business and
later went into real estate.
He is retired.
Mrs. Granadier worked
with her husband in his var-
ious jobs, and she holds
membership in Pioneer
Women/ Naamat.
Granadier has been a
member of Perfection Lodge
of the Masons since 1936
and the couple holds mem-
bership in Cong. B'nai
Israel-Beth Yehudah.

Bloomfield. The senior So-
sins have six grandchildren.
Sosin, who built a reputa-
tion as a humorist, has
served as master of cere-
monies at a variety of com-
munal functions. He is on
the board of Israel Bonds,
the Jewish National Fund,
B'nai B'rith, Men's ORT,

Jewish Community Coun-
cil, Jewish Home for Aged,
Zionist Organization of
America — Detroit District,
Sinai Hospital, Chabad
Lubavitch and the Reset- , -
tlement Service.
At Cong. B'nai
Sosin is past president and a
life board member.
Mrs. Sosin has been a
member of the B'nai David
Sisterhood for man years
and chaired the gift shop.
She also holds membership
in B'nai B'rith, Sinai Hospi-
tal Guild, Women's Ameri-
can ORT, American Miz-
rachi Women, Infant Serv-
ice Group.
