tion, concentrating on the

Yiddish Clubs

MONTREAL (JTA) — A
plan to help create
Yiddish-speaking clubs in
every major Jewish com-
munity in Canada was ap-
proved at a meeting here of
the executive committee of
the National Committee of
Yiddish of the Canadian
Jewish Congress.

entitled, "The Jewish Con-
tribution to the Performing
Arts."

announced plans to sell
$154 million worth of air
search radar equipment to
Egypt and $63 million in
aircraft spare parts to Saudi
Arabia.
The radar equipment will
help Egypt improve its air
defenses and contribute to
