Fair on Sept. 25.
"Interview Techniques
That Work" and "Writing
Effective Resumes" will be
presented from 1 to 2:15
p.m. and 2:30-3:45 p.m. in
the library of the main
Jewish Community Center.
The JVS workshops • are
designed to reach everyone
in the job market, including
recent college graduates,
displaced workers, the un-
employed and individuals
seeking a career change.
JVS counselors and job
placement specialists
Sherry Lumberg, Mark Be-
nnet and Sandra Prosch-
Jensen will lead the semi-
nars.
The interview work-
shop will use videotapes
to teach participants how
to approach the em-
ployer and the interview.
Persons leaving the re-
sume writing workshop will
take with them a handwrit-
ten resume, tailored for
their personal needs and
ready to be typed.
Participation in the
workshops will be on a
first-come, first-served
basis. Each workshop will
be offered at both times.
Other activities at the
fair will include the Run for
Soviet Jewry, crafts for
children and entertainment
for people of all ages. Each
Federation agency wil have
a booth in Shiffman Hall.
