Couple Celebrates 50th

Mr. and Mrs. Morris
(Margie) Samuels of South-
field will observe their 50th
wedding anniversary Sat-
urday. They were married
in 1933 at the old Ft. Wayne
Hotel in Detroit.
The couple will be hon-
ored by their family and
friends at a golden anniver-
sary cocktail party Satur-
day. Their children are: Mr.
and Mrs. Belden (Natalie)

Carroll of Southfield; Mr.
and "Mrs. Ira (Judy)
Samuels of Southfield, and
MT. and Mrs. Dennis (Di-
ane) Greenstein of New
York City. They also have
seven grandchildren.
Mr. wild Mrs. Samuels
have been members of Mat
Shalom Synagogue for 32
years. She also belongs to
Women's American ORT;
Hadassah; the Sinai Hos-
pital Guild; the Jewish
Home for the Aged, and the
Hebrew Benevolent
Society. He belongs to Per-
fection Lodge of the Masons.
The Shriners; Bnai Brith,
and the Jewish Community
Center Businessmen's
Club.
Until he retired five years
ago, Samuels was the owner
of Samuels Brothers
Cafeteria at the Eastern
Market.

Group are combining their
talents to create an enjoy-
able Stag Day for 1983 Al-
lied Jewish Campaign-
Israel Emergency Fund
volunteers next Wednesday
at the Franklin Hills Coun-
try Club.
Under chairman Thomas
Klein, the day will include
tennis, golf, relaxation and
an awards dinner marking
the conclusion of the 1983
Campaign.
