Bnai Israel-UHS Tie Announced

Marriages

Shelly Gail Zeff and
Jordan Scott Schreier
were married recently at
Temple Israel. Rabbi
Harold Loss, Rabbi M.
Robert Syme and Cantor
Harold Orbach officiated.
The bride is the daughter
of Dr. and Mrs. David Zeff.
Parents of the bridegroom
are Barbara Schreier and
Dr. Leonard Schreier.
The new Mrs. Schreier
and her husband were
graduated from the Univer-
sity of Michigan, where
Mrs. Schreier is enrolled in
a doctoral program in clini-
cal psychology. Her hus-
band will attend the U-M
law school.
The couple are residing in
Ann Arbor.

Lisa Faith Tugender
and Martin Merrill Edels-
tein were married recently
at Cong. Bnai Moshe. Rabbi
Stanley Rosenbaum sof-
ficiated.
The bride is the daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Paul Tu-
gender of Oak Park. Par-
ents of the bridegroom are
Mr. and Mrs. David M.
Edelstein of Southfield.
Edie Kamins was the
matron of honor. Shelly Be-
rman, Sheryl Lederman,
Beverly Peiss and Judy
Schreidell were brides-
maids. Shari Kamienny
was the junior bridesmaid,

honeymoon, the couple are
residing in Royal Oak.

Cong. Bnai Israel of West
Bloomfield has begun a
cooperative relationship
with the United Hebrew
Schools of Metropolitan De-
troit. The Cong. Bnai Israel
of West Bloomfield religious
school will meet on Sunday
morning from 9 to 11 a.m.
and WedneSday afternoon
from 4:15 to 6:15 p.m.
Mrs. Annie Friedman, a
member of the United He-
brew Schools staff, will as-
sume the responsibility of
head teacher.
Rabbi Philip Blachorsky
will supervise the opera-
tions of the school together
with the education commit-

tee under the leadership of
William Nadler.
