Rothstein Seeks Re-Election

Mayor Charlotte Roths-
tein of Oak Park will an-
nounce her candidacy for
re-election next fall at a cel-
ebration 8 p.m. Sunday at
Workmen's Circle Center.

first woman elected to the
Oak Park City Council,
serving in that capacity
from 1973 to 1981, when she
became the first woman
elected mayor.
She is a charter member
