Fresh Air Presents Slate, Receives Mahler Endowment
The Fresh Air Society
will hold its annual meeting
2 p.m. July 17 at the Butzel
Conference Center. The

Meanwhile, the FAS has
received a permanent
endowment fund, estab-
lished by Sara and Irving C.
Mahler in honor of their
50th wedding anniversary.
Mr. and Mrs. Mahler
earmarked the $100,000
gift to enhance the senior
adult camping program' at
Butzel Conference Center
in Ortonville. The program
serves more than 200
seniors during the summer,
and hosts additional elderly
persons during the year
from Jewish Federation
Apartments and Jewish
Home. for Aged.
The fund will aid FAS in
keeping program costs
down so that as many
seniors as possible can be
served. It also will help
maintain an eight-bedroom
facility at the Ortonville
site, which will be formally
dedicated as the Sara and
Irving C. Mahler Guest
House at the FAS annual
meeting. The community is
invited.

Holly Taub of Tucson,
Ariz., and Dr. Rodger Or-
man, also of Tucson, were
married recently at the El
Carnelia Ranch in Tucson.
Rabbi Morton Levine of the
Hillel Foundation at the
University of Arizona of-
ficiated.
The bride is the daughter
of Dr. and Mrs. Marvin
Taub of Tucson. Parents of
the bridegroom are former
Detroiters Mr. and Mrs. Be-
rnie Orman of Tucson.
Brenda Taub was her sis-
ter's maid of honor. Lisa
Zimmerman and Sandra
Young were the brides-
maids.
Marc Orman was his
brother's best man.
David Confer and John
Mihaulik were ushers.
The new Mrs. Orman was
graduated from the Univer-
sity of Arizona where she
earned a pharmacy degree -.
Her husband was graduated
from the University of
Arizona College of
Medicine.
Following a honeymoon
trip to the Grand Canyon,
the couple are residing in
Sacramento, Calif.
