and finance committee of
Sinai Hospital, a member
of the board of Clover
Hill Park Cemetery and a
board member of the
JNF.
Previously, Zack was a
vice president of the Jewish
Community Center, trustee
of Cong. Shaarey Zedek,
chairman of the Account-
ants Section of the Detroit
Service Group; chairman of
the Michigan State Board of
Accountancy and a member
of the Health and Welfare
Division of the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation.
Among his other mem-
berships, Zack counts "Bnai
Brith, the Zionist Organiza-
tion of America, American
Israel Public Affairs Corn-
mittee, American Jewish
Committee, Hebrew Be-
nevolent Society and Labor
Zionist Alliance.
In 1977, Zack and his
wife, Evelyn, were honored
at the. , annual awards
dinner of the Jewish Na-
tional Fund, at which the
David P. and Evelyn Zack
Forest was established in
their honor in the American
Bicentennial National Park
in Israel.
Born in Massachusetts,
Zack came to the University
of Michigan in 1921, earned
BA and master's degrees in
busine-ss administration
and then settled in Detroit,
where he practices as a
CPA.

America at the start of the
Revolutionary War in 1775.

1 lb. tomatoes, skinned
1 cucumber, peeled and diced
1 small -green pepper, finely
chopped
1 small onion, chopped
lemon juice
1/2 clove garlic, chopped
salt, pepper
1 tbsp. salad oil
ice water
Puree vegetables and garlic
in blender. Put in a large bowl;
beat in salt, pepper to taste.
Mix in oil and_ add enough
water for a flowing - consis-
tency. Add lemon juice to
taste.
