has opened an office for the
practice of internal
medicine at 31000 Lahser
Rd., Birmingham.

Dr. Harold T. Shapiro,
president of the University
of Michigan will be among
the speakers at the S.. Y.
Agnon Gold Medal Award
Dinner in honor of Dr.
William Haber, dean -
emeritus and professor of
economics at the University
of Michigan. The dinner
will take place 6:30 p.m.
Tuesday at Cong. Shaarey
Zedek.

Dr. Shapiro will join the
principal speaker and pre-
senter Avraham Harman,
chancellor of the Hebrew
University of Jerusalem, in
paying tribute to Dr. Haber.
Also attending the dinner
will be his .colleagues from
U-M: Dean Alfred S.

Nobel laureate, S. Y. Ag-
non.
