dle East, Pittsburgh area.

Hart and Pappas Reappointed
Bar-Ilan Chairmen for 1983

Dr. Martin Hart and
Norman A. Pappas have
been re-appointed as Bar-
Ilan University's general
chairmen for 1983, an-
nounced Phillip Stollman,
chairman of the university's
Global Board of Trustees,
and Dr. Leon Fill, vice
president of its American
Board of Trustees and a
member of the Global
Board.
Dr. Hart served as Bar-
Ilan's 1981 vice chairman as
well as chairman of its edu-
cation committee. In these

past several years, and
served as endowment
chairman in 1980-1981. He
recently led a United
Jewish Appeal mission with
Lawrence Jackier to the
Bar-Ilan Campus. In addi-
tion to his work with the
university, Pappas is active
in the Allied Jewish Cam-
paign, the National Young
Leadership Cabinet, the
Jewish Center and the

DIRECTIONS TO CAMP TAMARACK, BRIGHTON

Take the Lodge Freeway to the Lansing exit (696) to 1-96. Follow
1-96 west for about 23 miles. Take the US-23 NORTH exit and
follow US-23 north for 8 miles. Take the M-59 exit (marked
PONTIAC-HARTLAND). Follow M-59 west (left from exit ramp)
for a very short distance, until you come to a traffic light. This is the
old US-23, which is parallel to the new US-23 expressway. Turn
left on US-23 (which is almost like a service drive of the ex-
pressway) and go about 2 miles. Then, turn right (west) onto the
Camp road. You may also take Northwestern Highway to 1-696 to
1-96, then following the above directions, taking 1-96 north to
US-23, and so on.

Women for Bar-Ilan, and is

and is a former board

Hebrew Schools and of

eration. In recognition of
his efforts, he was
awarded the 1982 Frank
A. Wetsman Memorial
Leadership Award by
the Jewish Welfare Fed-
eration.
His wife, Sharon, chaired
the Bar-Ilan Arrangements
Committee in 1981-1982,
and co-chaired it this year.
She is also president of the
American Women for Bar-
Ilan, Detroit Chapter, and
was instrumental in re-
vitalizing that group.

moted Bar-Ilan's endow-
