itor to the restaurant owned
by his son, John Lelli, 23,
and Fred Bismark, 24 . . .
It's called John and Fred's
Golden Eagle Bar and
Grille Family Restaurant
on Rochester Rd. and
Tieken Rd. (about 25 Mile
Rd.) in Rochester's North
Hill Shopping Center.
Their eatery used to be a
plain bar operation, since
1962 . . . serving very good
ground rounds . . . John
and Fred took over Oct. 5,
1981 . . . changing the
Larry and Paul's Golden
Eagle and putting their
names on instead.
Quite a difference now,
though ... Both John and
Fred used to work in the
kitchen at Mario's on
Second when John's dad
had the place . . . Fred
was a waiter there five
years.
