Promises Promises

There's something to be said
for promises. When we make
a pledge to the Allied Jewish
Campaign, we promise to help
others less fortunate than
we are. And, based on those
pledges, the Jewish Welfare
I Federation is able to budget
for their needs.

But, sooner or later, we have
to back up the promise with
cash -- or the budget can't
be met. And an old woman
sitting somewhere alone,
here, or in Romania, or in
Israel, will wonder what ever
became of that promise.

Please pay your pledge now to the Allied Jewish Campaign and
Israel Emergency Fund, as, well as Project. Renewal.

If you do so before December 31, you will enjoy the tax benefits on
your 1982 return.
