at a dinner and Hanuka
party at the temple youth
room. The group and guests
will attend Shabat services
at 8 p.m., followed by an
oneg Shabat. On Saturday,
the group will host a party
for exchange student Ronit
Cohen, who is returning to
Israel.
Activities
Auditions for the talent
show at the BBYO regional
convention will be held 1
p.m. Sunday in the Dubin
Meeting Room in the Bnai
Brith Building. All chapters
wishing to enter an act in
the talent show must tryout
at that time.
Additional chairmen
have been selected for the
Michigan BBYO regional
convention which will take
place Dec. 26-30 at the main
Jewish CoMmunity Center.
They are: Jackie Raznik,
Shalom Aviv BBG, and Phil
Arnold, Jolson AZA, regis-
tration; Neal Zipser, Benny
AZA, and Stacy Singer,
Sabra BBG, transportation;
and Bobby Wolok of Rose
AZA, bowling.
The convention is open to
all members of AZA and
BBG and applications have
been mailed to each regis-
tered member. Additional
applications are available
from chapter presidents or
from the BBYO office.
Ahavah BBG will spon-
sor a weekend at the
Charles and Florence
Milan BBYO Conference
Center Dec. 17-19. The
weekend will consist of
chapter preparation for
various regional conven-
tion contests and will fea-
ture special programm-
ing on Hanuka. Coor-
dinator for the weekend
is Julie Morgan, vice
president.
Planning is under wayfor
the forthcoming AZA bas-
ketball and BBG volleyball
leagues. Both athletic ac-
tivities will commence in
January and run each Sun-
day through April. Indi-
vidual applications will be
mailed to- each registered
member of AZA and BBG.
The coordinators are Gary
Fealk of Samson AZA and
Julie Caliton of Shalom
Aviv BBG.
Brice BBG will hold a
dance on Jan. 15 at Adat
Shalom Synagogue. The
dance is open to the entire
Jewish youth community
and there is a charge.
