New Publication
to Change Name

NEW YORK (JTA) —
Asher Wolk, founder and
editor-in-chief of "Olam
Hadash," an illustrated He-
brew monthly for children
and youth issued for more
than 20 years, said an effort
by a New York publisher to
use the same title for a new
Hebrew weekly had been
halted.
Wolk said "Olam
Hadash's" non-profit pub-
lisher, Hebrew Publications
for Children, hired a law
firm which filed suit in
State Supreme Court of
New York after Yosi Yanai
refused to stop using "Olam
Hadash" for his new
weekly. Yanai then agreed
to use the name "Olam
Hadashot," Wolk said.
