1 clove garlic

1 tbsp. fresh dill
11/2 tbsps. instant chicken
soup powder
pepper to taste
Put all ingredients in a blen-
der and blend until smooth.
Add water to make two quarts
of soup. Let simmer 15 min-
utes, covered. Serves 10-12.

dinner-dance given by their
children Sunday at Kings-
ley Inn on the occasion of
their 50th wedding an-
niversary.
The couple's children are
Mr. and Mrs. Edwin (Theo-
dora) Lesson of New York
City.
Mr. Lesson retired from
the Chrysler Corp. in 1976,
earning the distinction of
having the longest working
record in the company'shis-
tory until that time.
For the past two years,
he has won gold medals
for Michigan's Senior
Center Olympics One-
Mile Walk and last year
he was awarded a silver
medal for the 60-yard
dash.
Mrs. Lesson is a member
of the Philip Handler Chap-
ter of Bnpi. Brith and was
president in 1968 and 1969.
