and Ladies Auxiliary,
Jewish War Veterans, Will
open its 41st annual de-
partment convention 7:30
p.m. today at the JWV
Memorial Home.
Greetings will be brought
from all veterans organiza-
tions, the Veterans Ad-
ministration and govern-
ment officials. Twenty col-
lege students will receive
scholarships.
At 9 a.m. Saturday, serv-
ices will be held at Cong.

Beth Achim. Saturday eve-
ning's activity will be a
banquet at the Plymouth
Hilton, at which Comman-
der William Greenberg
and Auxiliary President
Lina Burnstein will be hon-
ored.

Sunday's schedule in-
cludes 9:30 a.m. memorial
services and a business

Hilton. Officers for the

Sweet and Sour
Sauce Recipe

1 tbsp. corn oil
2 cloves crushed garlic
2 tbsps. soy sauce
2 tbsps. corn syrup (light)
2 tbsps. cider vinegar
2 tbsps. chili sauce
1 tbsp. sangria wine
2 tbsps. tomato sauce
2 tbsps. cornstarch blended
with one tbsp. water
Heat oil. Fry garlic for about
a minute. Add remaining in-
gredients. Bring to a boil and
lower heat. Simmer uncovered
for a few minutes. Place in a
small serving bowl. Serves 4.
