Sweet and Sour Sauce Recipe By NORMA BARACH (Copyright 1982, JTA, Inc.) 1 tbsp. corn oil 2 cloves crushed garlic 2 tbsps. soy sauce 2 tbsps. corn syrup (light) 2 tbsps. cider vinegar 2 tbsps. chili sauce 1 tbsp. sangria wine 2 tbsps. tomato sauce 2 tbsps. cornstarch blended with one tbsp. water Heat oil. Fry garlic for about a minute. Add remaining in- gredients. Bring to a boil and lower heat. Simmer uncovered for a few minutes. Place in a small serving bowl.
