ADAT SHALOM'S
Migdal Tzion United
Synagogue Youth will par-
ticipate in the Central
Region USY regional con-
vention today through Sun-
day at the Sheraton South-
field Hotel. Delegates to the
convention are: Bruce
Frank, Libby Alpern, Be-
njie Frank, Andy Rocklin,
Jon Levy, Tami Lifton, Mar-
jie Winkleman and Melissa
Okun. Theme for the con-
vention is Shabat, the in-
ternational USY theme for
1981-1982.
There will be no
Shoresh-Migdal Tzion
Shabat services Saturday.
The youth groups will
participate in the
synagogue's Israel Inde-
pendence Day celebration
Wednesday, beginning with
Minha services at 6 p.m.
There will be dinner and
entertainment. There is a
charge.
Migdal Tzion USY will
join the Beth Achim
Lahav USY for an oneg
Shabat 8 p.m. April 30 in
the home of Tami Lifton,
30352 Beechaven, South-
field. For directions, call
Tami, 356-0066.
Migdal Tzion will hold
elections May 23, and is tak-
ing -letters of intent -to run
until May 7. Letters should
be submitted to Cantor Earl
Berris. There will be no
nominations from the floor.
Shabat services will be
held 10 a.m. Saturday for
Nitzanim and Makor in the
nursery. Garinim will meet
at 10 a.m. in the chapel.

HILLEL MOSES junior

for youth age 7-15. The

Jewish Federation Apts.

Shabat 8 p.m. today in the
home of adviser Gail

ter, Southfield. Discussions
and a play will highlight the

Bnai Mazal and Kadima
will have an Israeli day 1:30
p.m. Sunday in the
synagogue to prepare for
-Beth Achim's participation
in the Israel Independence
Day parade May 2. For de-

help staff the "flipp'y"
booth at the celebration.
Services for youth of all
ages will be held at 10 a.m.

and Tefilin Club will meet 9
a.m. Sunday in the
synagogue for services and
breakfast, hosted by men's
club. Youth in grades six
through 12 and their par-
ents are invited. There will
be a talk on "Drug and
Alcohol Abuse."
Beth Shalom Yachad-
junior congregation and
Yeladim groups still have a
limited number of tickets
available for the trip to see
the Southfield Ice Co. Sun-
day at the Southfield Ice
Arena.
The groups will meet at
12:15 p.m. at Beth
Shalom. Children should
bring a bagged dairy
lunch. Beverage will be
provided. There is a
charge and drivers are
needed.

softball game Sunday,
meeting at noon in the
synagogue lobby. Members
