member of the central
committee of Naamat Is-
rael and chairman of the
public committee of
Naamat Israel on the
Diaspora and tourism.
Ms. Widetzky, who was
born in Minneapolis and
immigrated to Israel with
her parents when she was
10 years old, has been
actively involved in
encouraging Hebrew speak-
ing in Jewish communities
throughout the world.
As a member of the board
of Brit Ivrit Olamit, World
Organization of the Hebrew
Language, she attended the
fourth European Congress
on the Hebrew Language
and Culture, Warsaw Uni-
versity in Poland.

Camp Tamarack
Meeting Slated

An informational meet-
ing on Camp Tamarack at
Brighton will be held 7 p.m.
Sunday in the home of Stacy
Trager, 1111 Briarcliffe.
Parents of past and future
campers and the prospec-
tive campers are welcome.
Leonard Newman, resident
director of Camp Tamarack,
will describe the program.
He also will accept reserva-
tions for 1982 camp ses-
sions.

nual theater party March 7.

Beech Tree • restaurant at
4:30 p.m. and "Gypsy" will
be seen at 7 p.m. at Whiting
Auditorium.
