JERUSALEM (JTA) --
Israel is using diplomatic
channels to convey to the
United States and other
Western powers the very

Israeli forces last Saturday
after a two-day manhunt.
Two and possibly three
others escaped. Foreign
Minister Yitzhak Shamir
