Jehuda Reinharz, professor
of history at the University
of Michigan.
Reinharz is engaged in
writing the first com-
prehensive, analyitical
biography of Dr. Chaim
Weizmann, Zionist leader
and first president of the
state of Israel. Reinharz will
speak on aspects of his re-
search and findings.
Born in Haifa, Israel, in
1944, Reinharz was
awarded a PhD degree
from Brandeis University
in 1972. In addition to his
duties as history profes-
sor, he is also chairman of
the U-M Judaic Studies
Program.
Luncheon will be served,
and guests are welcome.
