— In an interview with the
Los Angeles Times, U.S.
Secretary of Defense Caspar
Weinberger has revealed
something of his Jewish

that Weinberger's tinge of

be California's attorney
general. He lost and one
former political associate
attributed his defeat, in
some part, to the fact that
"the gentiles thought he
was Jewish and the Jews
knew he was a gentile."
