The William Beaumont
Hospitals in Royal Oak and
Troy will offer free blood
screening tests for diabetes
today at Beaumont
Hospital-Troy from 10 a.m.
to 4 p.m. today in the out-
patient laboratory on the
hospital's main floor. -
Tests at Beaumont Hospi-
tal - Royal Oak will be con-
ducted between 9 a.m. and 6
p.m. today in the Adminis-
trative Services Building.
Testing is limited to per-
sons over 18 not known to
have diabetes. Persons who
are over 40, overweight and
related to diabetics run a
high risk of developing the
disease.
Pre-registration is not
required, but anyone
who wants test results
sent to his doctor should
bring the doctor's name
and address.
To ensure accurate re-
sults,persons coming for
the screening are advised to
eat a full, carbohydrate-rich
meal — high in starch and
sugar- — two hours before
the test.

president of the agency.

Mrs. Rose L. Greenberg;

Mark Schlussel was
chairman of the nominating
committee. Serving with
him were Mrs. Brandwine
