Testing is limited to per- sons over 18 not known to have diabetes. Persons who are over 40, overweight and related to diabetics run a high risk of developing the disease. Pre-registration is not required, but anyone who wants test results sent to his doctor should bring the doctor's name and address. To ensure accurate re- sults,persons coming for the screening are advised to eat a full, carbohydrate-rich meal — high in starch and sugar- — two hours before the test. Gordon to Lead Met.
