Jewish Educators Council
Sponsors Teacher Seminar
The Jewish Educators
Council of Metropolitan De-
troit will convene its annual
teachers institute Sunday
at the United Hebrew
Schools. The theme of this

Training:"
The purpose of the insti-
tute is to begin to train
teachers who are currently
engaged in Jewish schools
to more effectively handle
the discipline and motiva-
tional problems which are
found in the Jewish school
setting.
The Jewish Educators
Council is cooperating for
the first time with the Or-
chards, a program spon-
sored by the National Coun-
cil of Jewish Women. The
Orchards is providing staff
to train the teachers in a
religious school setting to
become more effective in
their handling of problema-
tic situations.
Dr. Gerald A. Teller,
chairman of the Jewish
Educators Council, will
introduce the program
and Jay Leventhal of the
Orchards will make the
original presentation.
There are other seminars
