nated by the all-
devouring goats.
Remote though it is, it is
not the first Jewish
presence in the district. A
grave containing a carved
menora, symbol of the first
Jewish state, lies near the
main gate. Nearby are the
Ruins of a small habitation,
probably a townlet called
Blaya of talmudical time,
