EMERGENCY
GOVERNOR'S CAMPAIGN
on behalf of Lubavitch Foundation

September 15-November 15

BOARD OF
DIRECTORS,

AN OPEN LETTER TO THE COMMUNITY

Dear Friends,

Michigan Chabad

We like people who like people.

That's why we like the Lubavitchers!
This movement has heart: they help our children throughout Michigan, in Israel,
and around The world. They have successfully combatted the "gurus," the drugs and

underprivileged homes — spend an exciting summer. They visit the sick in hospitals
and the Jewish internees in jail, and the list goes on and on . . .

ernors" campaign for Lubavitch.
The names of those who become Governors will be inscribed on the "Governors'

Dear Friends,

We are proud!

Schaver, a pioneer in Detroit philanthropy — particularly for Israel — a visionary who
perceived in those early years the vital role Lubavitch would come to play in the

community, a -man loved by all.
We are proud to be associated with Emma Lazaroff-Schaver whose warmhearted
philanthropy = accomplished with quiet grace, charm and dignity — have made her
