riculture Minister Ariel
Sharon said that Egypt had
so far bought $22 million
worth of agricultural pro-
duce form Israel, and other
sales of chemical fertilizers
worth another $10 million
are about to be concluded.
Sharon was addressing a
press conference following
his return last week from a
five-day visit to Egypt, dur-

Israeli-Egyptian agricul-
tural projects, including the
establishment of cattle
ranches and irrigation net-
works.
Spectacular llavdala Performance
Draws 3,600 to Shaarey Zedek Concert
A spectacular perform-
ance by more than 100 par-
ticipants, marking the pre-
miere of the impressive new
dramatic cantata by Dr.
Morton Gold based on the
theme of the Havdala, drew
an audience of more than
3,600 to the Shaarey Zedek
sanctuary Sunday evening.
Marking the conclusion of
the year's programs spon-
sored by the synagogue's
cultural commission
chaired by Mrs. Lea (Wal-
ter) Field and Dr. Peter
Martin, the response to the
concert set another high re-
cord for interest in the artis-
tic and musical pre-
sentations. The auxiliary
halls to the main sanctuary
were opened for the occa-
sion, which was the annual
musical event financed by
Mr. and Mrs. Peter Weis-
berg.
At 6 p.m., two hours prior
to the commencement of the
musical program, the audi-.
ence began arriving and similarly drew close to Robin Schakne and Avra
