1 cup unbleached white flour
3 eggs
3 tbsps. water
1 tsp. salt
1 /2 tsp. monosodiwii glutamate
1/2 tsp. garlic powder
1 tsp. thyme
2 cups bread crumbs
1 cup wheat germ
1 /2 cup toasted sesame seeds
1 /2 cup oil
Peel eggplants and slice
lengthwise into one-half inch
slices. Dredge in flour and set
aside. Combine eggs with
water and seasonings; mix
thoroughly. Combine bread
crumbs with wheat germ and
sesame seeds; mix well. Dip
floured eggplant slices in egg
mixture. then in crumb mix-
ture. Fry in oil until golden
brown. (If desired, serve with
tomato sauce.) Services 6.
