Laker and Milgrom Will Chair
Detroit Activities for Bar-Ilan

Irving Laker and Myron
L. Milgrom have been
named general chairmen
for Bar-Ilan University's
activities in Detroit.
Both Laker and Milgrom
have long been active in
communal affairs. Laker
serves on the Jewish Wel-
fare Federation's Board of
Governors and is a past
member of the Allied
Jewish Campaign's execu-
tive board, and the boards of
the Jewish Vocational Serv-
ice, the Hebrew Benevolent
Society, and the Bnai Brith
Foundation.
He is a member of the
board of Cong. Shaarey
Zedek and a past president

of its men's club, as well as a
member of the National
Federation of Jewish Men's
Clubs' Executive Board.
He is a member of the
Prime Minister's Club —
State of Israel Bonds, as
well as Bonds' New
Enrollment chairman
and chairman of
Synagogue and Jewish
Affairs.
Laker served as 1979-
1980 general chairman of
the Friends of Lubavitch
and is currently member-
ship vice president of the
Zionist Organization of
America Detroit District.
