The lecture series is part
of Mercy College's
Holocaust Education Proj-
ect that includes an art ex
hibit and dialogues with
community groups.
The art exhibit features
the paintings of Anna
Walinska. It is free and
open to the public, Oct. 20 -
Nov. 1.
There is no admission
charge. The lecture series is
supported in part by grants
from Mercy College, Michi-

Israel Mission

Pearl Nosanchuk of
Southfield, a founder and
board member of the Detroit
Friends of Shaare Zedek
Hospital in Jerusalem, will
participate in the 1980 mis-
sion to Israel of the Ameri-
can Friends of Shaare Zedek
Hospital.
The mission will be led on
a tour by archeologist Prof.
Aryeh Netzer. The agenda
includes a tour of the hospi-
tal medical center, a Shabat
reception in the home of the
committee's chairman
Ludwig Jesselson, a tea in
the home of Dr. and Mrs.
David Maeir, a reception at
the residence of President
and Mrs. Yitzhak Navon,
dinner at the Plaza Hotel
with Jerusalem Mayor
Teddy Kollek and a Knesset
dinner.
A sculpture at the
entrance of the new Shaare
Zedek medical center will
be dedicated.
