conferral of some 1,300 aca-
demic degrees and diplomas
at its four commencement
exercises in June and
August, Yeshiva Univer-
sity and its affiliates have
awarded a total of 21,328
degrees and diplomas since
1908.
The university, compris-
ing four academic centers in
Manhattan and the Bronx,
and affiliated campuses in
Los Angeles and Israel, has
an enrollment of some 7,000
men and women, a faculty of
1,200, and an operating
budget of $120 million an-
nually.

UN Israel Vote

NEW YORK — Mayor
George Voinovich of Cleve-
land, in a letter to President
Carter, and Mayor Ernest
Morial of New Orleans, in a
statement released this
week, condemned "unwar-
ranted attacks" on Israel
and noted that the United
Nations has in effect ques-
tioned Israel's right to exist
by denoucning its presence
in Jerusalem.
Both mayors took part in
a three-day International
Conference of Mayors in
Jerusalem last April, co-
sponsored by the U.S. Con-

tinian artists which was to
