A Sick Mind Causes
Pain for Local Family
A sick mind has used The
Jewish News as a vehicle to
perpetrate a disgusting at-
tempt at a joke, creating
hardship for a local family.
The Jewish News regrets
that it had published an
obituary, called in, for
Vadim RogAchevsky in its
July 4 edition. Mr.
Rogachevsky is alive and in
good health.
Because of this incident,
e Jewish News will no
longer accept obituaries
over the telephone from in-
dividuals.
Persons who wish to sub-
mit obituaries, and do not
deal with the two local
Jewish funeral chapels with
whom The Jewish News has
daily contact, must send the
information, in writing, ac-
companied by the name and
telephone number of some-
one who can be contacted
locally.
